The evening was a great success with more than 600 people visiting to watch a host of hot air balloons take to the sky in celebration of the change of ownership of the Heart of the Shires shopping village in Northamtonshire.  Everyone browsed all the shops as well as enjoying music from Toscana String Ensemble whilst nibbling canopes and dring champagne.

 Bertie Bassett balloon is only launched when a donation of £500.00 is made to Children with Leukaemia Charity, this donation was made by Mr Paul Macaness the new owner of the Heart of the Shires, who was delighted that he could be launched and said “It was great to see so many people here and fantastic to be able to view the balloons close up in our events field".
