15.15 – Flight arrival – meet in the arrivals hall at Bergamo look for someone holding a sign with Hi 2 Events on.  Price of flights are not included.

17.00  – Arrival at San Mattia http://www.agriturismosanmattia.it/en/    for 3 nights stay. The evening is free for you to stroll around this lovely estate or take a trip into Verona or surrounding area.
San Mattia is around 20 minutes from Verona with buses running up to 19.00. You will need exact amount of 2 euros to travel and tell the driver to drop you at Pizza Bra which is right in the centre

Sunday 18th June / 17th  September

7.30 – 8.45 Breakfast at San Mattia. Fresh coffee is available from the bar.
9.00 –  Transport to Lazise by the Lake, arriving at 9.45, time to stroll and have coffee…
10.45 – Transport to Wine Museum http://www.museodelvino.it/en here we will see the museum and taste some fabulous wines. With a chance to buy some to take home or drink back at base!
12.15 – Transport to Garda, by the lake, arriving approx. 12.30.  Free time to stroll, shop, have lunch or even take a short boat trip on the Lake.  (You can go from Garda to Torri which is a round trip of around 50 minutes. Can’t book it so for those that fancy going we can just meet at the boat at 15.00.  return at 15.50
16.30/16.45  – Return to San Mattia arriving approx.  17.15/17.30.    Evening free. (Restaurant suggestions are available)

Monday 19th June / 18th September

8.00 – 9.00 Breakfast at San Mattia.
9.30 – Transport to Verona for walking tour of the city (approx. 2 hours). Please bear in mind that it is also a 10 minute walk from where the bus drops us. You will need comfortable shoes!
10.15 – Walking tour of Verona accompanied by an experienced guide.  This starts close to Piazza Bra, where the Arena is and then continues to Piazza delle Erbe, the Market Square, Piazza dei Signori. With this tour you have plenty of time to admire the many monuments, the inside courtyards, the beautiful buildings and also the hidden spots and streets of Verona. Juliet’s house is naturally on the program!
12.15  – Free time in Verona for lunch, shopping etc.
14.30 – Transport to San Mattia arriving 15.00
16.00 –  And now time to don the aprons and get ready to cook our dinner!  This is a fantastic fun  experience learning how to make pasta from the region.
19.30  – Dinner is served!  This will be the pasta you make!

11.15 – Transport to Bergamo airport. Approx. 1 hr 20 minutes and time to say goodbye….

Rotary Club Race Night Promotes Local Businesses

Kibworth Golf Club are hosting a Rotary Club Horse Race Night on 27 January 2017 to promote local small businesses while fundraising for Charity.

How Your Business Can Benefit

For a donation of £50 any local business based in or around Fleckney or Leicester can sponsor one of the races to get their company name onto the race card and on the big screen for the evening.

You can sponsor as many races as you wish and while promoting your company you are also benefitting local charities that help children and families in the local community. How to Attend the Event

You don’t need to be a Rotary Club member to attend the Race Night, it is open to anyone who wants to attend. The cost of a ticket is just £10 which includes a sit-down chicken and chips dinner. All you need to pay for is a drink.

Business Expo held at Tigers’ stadium is a roaring succe

More than 600 people have attended an annual exhibition as part of Leicester Business Festival.

The Leicestershire Business Expo, which is in its 10th year and run by Hi2Events, attracted around 650 people to the Leicester Tigers stadium on Thursday.

A total of 106 businesses and organisations showcased at the event including Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicestershire-based solicitors EHL and the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce.

The event also staged several seminars by the Leicester Apprenticeship Hub and the LLEP, and two ask the expert sessions by businesses such as Newby Castleman and Haines Watts.

Elaine Vandelli, managing director of Hi2Events, said despite 550 people registering to attend, she saw many more arrive during the day.

She said: “The event went very well. This is our fourth year at Tigers and the exhibitors seem very happy to be here.
“There are quite a few businesses that come back each year, for example, EHL, Bray & Bray, FSB, and Chamber of Commerce

“I would say at least 40 per cent of people here have been coming here year on year.

“There are a couple of businesses here from outside of Leicestershire as well.”

EDC SUPPORT

David Eary, managing director of IT support company, EDC Support, in Lutterworth, said: “The event went really well. We had a really steady flow of people which is what we wanted to achieve.

“We’re members of the FSB and they offered us a stand which we decided to take as we’ve never showcased at an event like this before in Leicester.

“We thought we’d give it a go and we’re very happy that we did.

“They’re great for networking, getting exposure and we’re meeting lots of other businesses from different industries.”

He said: “We’re here as we do a lot of work with companies that are based in Leicester and I’m based all around the Midlands but I’m in Leicester quite a lot throughout the year.

“It’s a great opportunity to network with people and get to know other businesses in the area.”

Bookings have been flying in over the last few months from businesses booking a space at the biggest marketing event in Leicester city all year.

Leicester Business Expo (#LeicsBE16) will be celebrating its 10th successful year on 27th October at Leicester Tigers, and the impact the show has had on local businesses has been massive. Other places to exhibit at such a large show, are often a lot more expensive, and apart from them being priced more per space; who wants the expenses involved in driving too far afield to service new customers?

There are companies booked into the show from across Leicestershire, and many are starting to book places from as far afield as Nottingham, Northampton and Derby.”

Last Few Exhibition Stands Available

Elaine is very keen to keep the event dedicated to businesses in Leicestershire, but they need to wake up and book in quickly, before the surrounding Counties can cash-in on this event to enlarge their customer base.
